All entertainers and Board Members of LAFS Canada Inc have annual Child Abuse Registry checks and Criminal Records Search Certificates (for vulnerable sector search).
Insurance
Each performer carries a $2,000,000.00 liability insurance policy.
Incorporation
LAFS Canada Inc was incorporated in the Province of Manitoba in 2006 and is a registered charity.
The Board of Directors meets monthly and is an active hands-on Board.

About the Performers
Our performers are all volunteers working towards educating children about Life And Fire Safety.
Dee Dee and Puff together have over 35 years of experience in the entertainment business and work through LAFS Canada Inc. For their accomplishments they have been honoured with scholarships and awards.
Together they have attended a variety of conventions, conferences and University to advance their skills.
Puff and Dee Dee have attended the University of La Crosse-Wisconsin Clown Camp. Clown Camp is an internationally respected education for clowns around the world, to enhance the quality and services of clowns. Here they were introduced to Safety Clowning and determined this was something they wanted to bring to Canada. At the University they completed the Community and Safety Education Program. They completed a course of instruction in Characterization in Public Education through the Arizona Fire and Burn Educators' Association at the 21st Annual Educational Characterization through Clowning & Puppetry Camp.
Dee Dee and Puff are members of three safety organizations AFBEA (Arizona Fire and Burn Education Association), Just for LAFS and SMILE (Safety Messages in Life Education), as well as World Clown Association, Clowns of America International and Clowns Canada.
